Teak Access Hatch Install – 37′ Bavaria

The owner of this boat wanted better access to his forward scan transducer. The only way to access was by removing the birth and stowed items. Less than ideal if this ever had to be accessed in an emergency. The solution was to install a teak hatch in the forward bulkhead. This required reinforcing the bulkhead around the cutout.
